Firth Family Fright Night

Hope you're all ready for the Speirs' rendition of the Firth Family Fright Night! We've got loads of fun and excitement in store. If you haven't planned your costume yet, try to go along the lines of famous people. There will be lots of awards for costumes this year with different categories. We would love some help with the food, however. Here's a list of the foods we need people to bring:

*Nacho cheese


*Tortilla chips

*Popcorn

*Favorite movie candy


I will hear no complaints that none of these food items fall on the healthy sides of the food pyramid. This is not the complete menu planned, but don't count on any of it being "healthy." Everybody's diet need a little fat and oils, right?? :) It's just all part of the game.

Here are some pictures from the 24th of July Parade in Ogden. It always alarms me that they have the mounted posse point "fake" guns at you and "fake shoot" you. Remember this is downtown Ogden. The other funny thing is that Layton City always sends their float in for the Home Town Hero without anyone on the float, just empty seats and a poster with the heroes
names.

This week was so fun with John's family in town. I think Jackson will miss Jason and Ryan like crazy. Thanks for so much fun John and Michelle and boys. Flow Rider was definitely the highlight of the boys. Here are some pictures.

Lets Make This Official!

Just wanted to make sure everyone is "in the loop"

We are still planning on having our multi-family garage sale on Sat. June 6th! It will be held in Andrea's yard. We thought that would be the perfect place, considering it is also the Air Show! There should be people from all over, looking for a good spot. So, start going through all that stuff you have hidden in your basements, the corner of your garage, or up in the closets! More people will come if they can see some good stuff from the street. From my garage alone, we've got beds, couches, t.vs, a mini-fridge, weight sets, a treadmill, crystal vases, tons of clothes, and who knows what is all of Carly's boxes! We can get some great stuff sold! Remember, the goal of this garage sale is to meet Dave Ramsey's first goal: Get $1000 put away for your emergency savings. I bet we can do it! If you haven't used it within the last 2 years, I bet you don't need it! :) Lets sell it!

Ha, ha! I beat Cherilyn to it, but she had a couple of days to post. She and Brady are having a girl!!! We saw the video last night. It's not a peanut any more. You can really see features. Congratulations!
